Hi there! I’m the face behind the dye pots at Wild Dyes Studio, and I am so glad you’re here. My journey into the world of fiber arts wasn’t a lifelong pursuit—it was a whirlwind romance that started in March 2025.

I picked up a crochet hook for the first time that spring and instantly fell head-over-heels in love with the craft. But as I started dreaming up bigger projects, I hit a snag: I had a "champagne taste" for gorgeous, hand-dyed yarns, but a "small-town budget." I truly believe that everyone should be able to create something extraordinary without breaking the bank.

Wild Dyes Studio was born out of a simple belief: We all deserve a little more color in our lives. Whether you are a seasoned knitter, a crochet enthusiast, or a fiber artist just starting out, my goal is to provide high-quality, hand-dyed yarn that sparks your imagination and makes your heart skip a beat.

When I’m not obsessing over new colorways or untangling hanks of wool, I’m living my best life in a cozy small town in Maine. My world is beautifully chaotic, shared with my wonderful husband and our three sons—who keep me on my toes at ages 18, 9, and 2! From video games and bmx bikes to toddler tantrums, there is never a dull moment in our house, and that same energy and love go into every single skein I dye.
